Ich bin 1980 in Erbach, Deutschland geboren. In dem Zeitraum von 1999 bis 2000 absolvierte ich einen internationalen Freiwilligendienst in Mittelamerika und Europa. Es war in dieser Zeit das ich ein spezielles Interesse an der fotografischen Dokumentation entwickelte. Dem folgte mein Studium der Fotografie am Savannah College of Art and Design in den Vereinigten Staaten mit einem Bacherlor of Fine Art Abschluß.

2005 kehrte ich wieder zurück in meine Heimat Deutschland und machte mich in Thüringen als freischaffende Fotografin selbstständig. Seither begleite ich, fotografisch, humanitäre Hilfsprojekte in Mittelamerika und habe das zwischen Kunst und Sozialem vermittelnde WE AR’T Projekt initiiert. Auch fotografiere ich Reportagen unter anderem für das Servus in Stadt und Land Magazin und verfolge weiterhin Lehrtätigkeiten in Frankfurt und Thüringen.

I was born 1980, in Erbach, Germany. In the years from 1999 until 2000 I completed an international community service program in Central America and Europe. It was during this time, I became interested in photographic documentations. Hence I studied photography, at the Savannah College of Art and Design, in the United States, finishing with a Bachelor of Fine Art degree in 2003.

2005, I returned to Germany and started working as a freelance photographer in Thuringia. Since I have photographically accompanied humanitarian projects in Central America and initiated the WE AR’T project, which acts as mediator between the arts and social concerns. Also I work for magazines such as Servus in Stadt und Land. Alongside I got a teaching assignments in Frankfurt and Thuringia.
